Dr. Sanjay Gupta told Stephen Colbert how people can help to bring down the number of Coronavirus cases
Dr. Sanjay Gupta stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (LSSC) to let everybody know that doing the right thing is the best thing they can do in order to help decrease the number of Coronavirus
(COVID-19) cases; which are almost 2,000 and the number of deaths being
above 40.
“If I don’t engage in these good behaviors for me, then I should do it for you. I should do it for the people around me.” The doc is right. Staying home, washing your hands, taking baths, brushing your teeth, washing and drying your clothes are simple things you can do to make sure that you don’t get a virus that you end up giving to other folks.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness. And folks who tend to be nasty are those who stand a greater risk of getting all of those viruses that are attracted to the filth they have in them. Therefore, wash yourself so you don’t end up being one of the 80% infecting the 20% who don’t bounce back as fast.
The last thing we need is for these ol’ folks and folks who have pre-existing conditions to get sick because some young unclean eighty percenter is out and about, with his or her Tinder date, passing the Coronavirus around like it’s giblet dressing and turkey stuffing during Thanksgiving time.
These poor doctors and nurses are already over stressed. They don’t have enough equipment to help the patients that they do have. And the last thing they need is for some young unclean eighty percenter and his Tinder date adding to their problems by infecting folks whose immune systems aren’t up to the task of fighting off that nasty COVID-19 devil.
“Sometimes these hospitals not having enough to take care of these patients. And I’m just stunned by the decision making that has to happen at these hospitals, right now. I have a patient here. I have a patient here. Both of them, I could save them both but I don’t have the resources to do that so I’m gonna have to make a really tough decision. That’s what’s happen here,” is what the doc told Colbert.
The whole point is don’t go out infecting granddaddy and grandmamma. Stay at home and watch Netflix. And if you so happen to live with granddaddy and/or grandmamma, then go to a relative who doesn’t have old folks in his or her house and watch Netflix over there.
I’m sure Netflix has some new shows that can keep y’all young eighty percenters preoccupied.
